Will have several openings for members in theoretical physics and astrophysics for the academic year 2011-2012. The positions are at a postdoctoral or higher level and include three - and five-year appointments and positions for sabbatical and other long-term senior visitors. Applicants will be selected on the basis of their ability to do research in the areas of astrophysics, cosmology, elementary particle physics, mathematical physics, general relativity, particle phenomenology, and statistical mechanics. Preference in three- and five-year appointments is given to candidates who have received their Ph.D. within the last few years. Postdoctoral members frequently collaborate with each other, with faculty members at the Institute or Princeton University, and with researchers at other institutions.
