The Chemistry Department at the University of Oregon periodically hires instructors for possible classroom teaching. Positions are full-time or part-time temporary positions, with appointments not to exceed one year without a further competitive search. Salary is dependent upon education and experience.
The department is now accepting applications to be placed in an Instructor applicant pool. A Master's degree in chemistry or a related field is required; Ph.D. preferred. Potential teaching assignments may include courses in general chemistry, organic/inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, or biochemistry. Prior relevant instructional experience preferred.
Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis and pool will remain active through January 31, 2011. Screening of applications will take place as positions become available and continue until positions are filled.
