Position Description:    

We are currently seeking one motivated self-financed Visiting Research Scholar to join Professor Xiling Shen’s lab for a two-year period. The visiting scholar will be engaged with the organoid clinical trial where he/she will perform colon cancer precision medicine research. Particularly, this will involve the culture of 3D colon cancer organoids, performing genomic profiling, and conducting drug screening to identify new compounds targeting colon cancer pathways. In addition, he/she will search for potential biomarkers for personalized medicine. Successful applicants will have backgrounds in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
