Position Description:    

The University of Massachusetts Medical School’s Department of Psychiatry is seeking a board certified/board eligible psychiatrist for the Dr. John C. Corrigan Community Mental Health Center in Fall River, MA. This facility provides a full range of mental health services, including a 16 bed Acute Psychiatric Inpatient Unit, a partial hospital program, community consultation, and an outpatient medication clinic.

This position will initially start as part-time with 20 hours per week with benefits. The job will then increase to a full-time, 40 hour per week position, with benefits.

Our Department has worked to make these family friendly positions, with weekdays only schedule, excellent state benefits and pension plan. No call (except voluntary for lucrative pay), no weekends, no nights, no holidays. Enjoy 13 paid state and federal holidays, 4 weeks of paid vacation, 2 personal days, and $3,000 annual practice allowance. Successful candidates will receive a faculty appointment and access to Departmental support for clinical, training, and research purposes. The department sponsors weekly CME and risk management training opportunities throughout the academic year.
