The Department of Molecular, Cell and Cancer Biology at the University of Massachusetts Medical School (http://umassmed.edu/mccb/) is seeking an outstanding individual for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty member at the Instructor level.
The candidate must have a Ph.D. degree in the biological sciences, more than 5 years of postdoctoral research experience in Drosophila genetics and molecular biology. Preference exists for candidates that possess laboratory experience in cell and developmental biology, including multiple types of advanced microscopy. Strong organizational skills and laboratory management experience are desirable, including experience mentoring early stage undergraduate and graduate students in laboratory research techniques and data analyses.
