| Arabic Instructor in the Program in Middle Eastern Studies and Islamic Civilization (MIST)
Colgate University, located in upstate New York, U.S.A, announces a possible position for an Arabic instructor for either the fall 2012 or spring 2013 semester. The position would provide practical experience teaching Arabic in a highly-regarded U.S. undergraduate Liberal Arts institution.
Definition of the position:
The language instructor will teach one Arabic course at the elementary level and one course at the intermediate level. He/she must use the proficiency-communicative approach.
He/she will participate in regular departmental activities that support Arabic instruction, such as attending the Arabic table at lunch once a week and facilitating occasional movies.
Faculty in the MIST program will assist with locating housing.
