The University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) seeks a part time to full time (~22 hours per week-40 hours per week) board-certified/board-eligible child and adolescent psychiatrist to serve at The Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital in Worcester, MA. You will work with patients on our Adolescent Care Units 1 and 2. WRCH also serves as a primary teaching site for UMMS psychiatric residents, medical students, and other disciplines. There are opportunities for research, including protected time depending on experience and goals.

The successful candidate will receive a faculty appointment and access to Departmental support for clinical, training and research purposes. The department sponsors weekly CME and risk management training opportunities throughout the academic year.

The benefit package is designed specifically for Medical School Faculty, including malpractice coverage, health, disability and life insurance, in addition to retirement savings with the option of a pension plan. There are 13 paid holidays, 4 weeks of paid vacation, three paid conference days, 2 paid personal days, and an annual practice allowance. There is no required on-call. There is the option for voluntary night, weekend and holiday coverage with highly competitive reimbursement.
