4th Young Scientists’ Forum on Theoretical Physics and Interdisciplinary Studies
Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences
Jan.6.-Jan.8, 2020, Beijing, China

We would like to invite all young scientists to participate in the Young Scientists’ Forum, which will be held in Beijing, China, from Jan.6.-Jan.8, 2020.

This forum is organized by the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ITP-CAS) and is open to all postdocs of theoretical physicists at age 40 or younger. The aim of this forum is to promote the achievements of young scientists, to help in their professional development, and to create a strong platform to exchange professional experiences.

The main topics of the forum cover:
  1.  Quantum field theory, particle physics and nuclear physics
  2.  String theory, gravitation and cosmology
  3.  Statistical physics and theoretical biophysics
  4.  Condensed matter physics, atomic, molecular and optical physics, and quantum physics
  5.  Other theoretical-physics-related interdisciplinary areas
We encourage all young scientists involved in these research to apply through the link: The deadline for application is Nov.30, 2019. All applications will be evaluated by selection committee consisting of leading experts and ITP-CAS will provide financial support to cover the accepted participants' travel (economy class) and local expenses. A Best Presentation Award will be given in the forum based on the assessment of the audiences.

Please feel free to contact Mr. Xiao Fang( for more information. We look forward to your participation in the 4th Young Scientists' Forum.
