Director of Graduate Programs in Education

This will be a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor (depending on qualifications).

Classification: Benefit Eligible

Duties: Individual will develop a new master’s level program to be offered both at the Lisle campus and by the Moser College in conformity with new State requirements.  This will primarily involve a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership with concentration tracks in curriculum and instruction, research, reading, and ELL.  Depending on the primary area of expertise of the new faculty member, that person will teach half load.  Also, this individual will be responsible for coordinating curriculum and assessment on ground and online for consistency and fidelity to new accreditation requirements.

Qualifications:

Education: Earned doctorate in a related field

Experience: Contemporary professional experiences in settings appropriate to teaching area; demonstrated ability to utilize technology and multiple teaching methods; teaching experience and licensure/endorsement to teach; familiarity with the program standards associated with their licensure area; demonstrated involvement in scholarly activities/research to education and their teaching area.
