DATE OF APPOINTMENT:

Fall Semester 2012 (position to begin in August).

Instructor; Half-time Position; One-Year Appointment

Classification: Benefit Eligible

Duties: Conducting of the University Concert Choir; coach chamber vocal ensemble; teach applied voice; teach related music courses in general core as lower or upper-division; music appreciation. Core courses assigned according to expertise and experience.

Qualifications:

Education: Earned Doctorate or ABD in Music Education required.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years successful public school teaching experience; undergraduate teaching experience required; record of excellence in both classroom teaching and field work in music education; proven ability to work well with colleagues, area music teachers, and the community.
