| "The Department of History, Cornell University, invites applications from historians of the twentieth-century African-American experience. The appointment will be full-time, tenure-track, at the assistant professor level or the tenured associate professor level. Applicants must be strong in both research and teaching and have the Ph.D. in hand by the starting date of July 1, 2013. We are especially interested in candidates whose work has a social science focus (e.g. law, politics, education, economics, or migration/immigration).
