The Department of Geography and Environment at Mount Allison University invites applications for a one-year (12 month) limited term position to teach in the areas of physical geography, biogeography, and environmental science. The appointment will be made at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor and will commence on July 1, 2020, subject to budgetary approval. Essential qualifications for the position include a Ph.D., with expertise in one of the previous areas mentioned, and a commitment to quality teaching at the undergraduate level. The successful candidate will teach four courses, consisting of: The Physical Environment (GENS 1401), Weather and Climate (GENS 2421), Biogeography (GENS 3421), and Seminar in Environmental Science (GENS 4421).
