The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign string theory group anticipates having an open postdoctoral research positions commencing in the fall of 2021. Appointments are for a two year term with potential extension to a third year. We are seeking candidates specializing in string theory/quantum gravity, AdS/CFT and quantum information. Faculty working in the area of interest are Thomas Faulkner and Robert Leigh.
Interested applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, a list of publications, and a statement of research interests, and arrange to have three letters of reference uploaded. In order to receive full consideration, applications should be submitted by December 1, 2020.
