Research topic: The current main research topic of Oka group is non-equilibrium quantum materials. While we intend to continue this direction, we also seek to expand our research to frontiers between other fields. Examples include biological systems and their control, information physics including quantum computation, non-equilibrium many-body systems, and high energy physics. Background on many-body physics, field theory, and numerical methods are preferred. 

 
Appointment: The initial appointment is for five years, and can be extended for an additional five years if the performance is satisfactory. The position is now open, and the term should start at the earliest possible date. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant field, or otherwise must receive a degree before the starting date of appointment.
