The Wheelock Educational Policy Center (WEPC), housed within the Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development, seeks a postdoctoral associate for a two-year fellowship to support its research activities. In addition to collaborating with affiliated faculty, including Joshua Goodman and Marcus Winters, the associate will work within an emerging co-lab between WEPC and BU’s Faculty of Computing and Data Science (CDS) and be responsible for activities toward building the data and research capacity for the center’s policy partners. They will also be allocated at least one day per week to continue independent research.

 

The postdoctoral associate will receive mentored professional development from affiliated faculty through a combination of active research collaboration and participating in activities available to members of the WEPC community.

 

Candidates should have a PhD in Education, Economics, Public Policy or a related field by the beginning of the fellowship. Candidates should have demonstrated interest and expertise in educational policy, strong quantitative research skills, and experience working with large scale administrative datasets.  

 

The position begins July 1, 2021. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Applicants from diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
