The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky (https://pa.as.uky.edu/) is seeking candidates for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position to start Fall 2022, in the area of Condensed Matter Theory related to Quantum Materials. Exceptional candidates at a more senior level will be considered. The successful candidate is expected to share intellectual interests with faculty working in quantum materials in our department and on campus. Examples of areas of interest include strongly correlated electronic systems, quantum many-body physics and topological materials. However, researchers in all areas of quantum condensed matter theory will be considered. A Ph.D. in Physics or a related field, and a record of research excellence is expected.
