The Department of Philosophy at Duke University in Durham, NC, seeks to fill three positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to begin July, 2022. The areas of specialization and competence are open, but we have particular needs in Philosophy of Biology, Philosophy of Mind/Cognitive Science, Decision Theory, Ancient Philosophy, and Asian/Comparative Philosophy. Duties include teaching four courses per year (two per semester) at the undergraduate and graduate levels, along with the usual advising and administrative responsibilities.
