A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Physics at William & Mary in theoretical condensed matter physics in the group of Prof. Enrico Rossi. Topics of current interest include the following: topological superconductors, non-Abelian states, superconductor-semiconductor heterostructures, topological Josephson junctions. Experience in theoretical and computational modeling of topological superconducting systems is desirable. The position is for three years, renewable each year based on performance and funding availability.

Required Qualification: Candidates must have a PhD by start of the appointment with expertise in an area relevant to the group’s research program.

Preferred Qualification: Experience in theoretical and computational modeling of topological superconducting systems is desirable.

Starting date: as early as January 25th 2022.
