The Department of Physics at Oklahoma State University invites applications for a tenured faculty position at the level of associate professor in Experimental Biophysics . The successful candidate should have a strong research portfolio and a well-established record of external funding. We particularly encourage applications from candidates who can form collaborations with OSU researchers in the biological sciences and related fields.

Qualifications The successful candidate should have a strong research portfolio and a well-established record of external funding. We particularly encourage applications from candidates who can form collaborations with the department’s existing faculty in biophysics and plasmonics and within the university’s Oklahoma Pandemic Center for Innovation and Excellence located at OSU and with research groups across OSU.

A Ph.D. in Physics is required, as well as the ability to teach physics courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and the ability to mentor underrepresented students.
