Position Description:    

Position Description:

The Department of Physics at the University of Texas at Austin invites applications for four tenure-track faculty positions (subject to the availability of funding) at the Assistant Professor level.   Well-qualified candidates at a higher rank will also be considered.


The four areas for recruiting are:

·      Experimental and/or Data Driven Cosmology:

·      Condensed Matter Theory:

·      Experimental Atomic Molecular and Optical Physics (AMO) Quantum Science:

·      Experimental Particle Physics:

Qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Physics or equivalent experience.
