The School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Minnesota invites applications for a postdoc position in theoretical condensed matter physics, with a starting date in the Summer or Fall of 2022. Applicants are expected to have completed their PhD in physics or related areas before the starting date of the position. The successful candidate will work in the research group of Prof. Rafael Fernandes in projects related to strongly correlated electronic materials. More information about the group can be found at https://cse.umn.edu/physics/rafael-fernandes.  Specific research topics include quantum criticality, unconventional superconductors, and flat-band systems. Familiarity with computational methods is preferred but not necessary.
