The University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing Program invites applications at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank for the Doctor of Nursing Practice faculty position. The University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing (GSN) is part of an academic health science center at UMass Chan Medical School focused on preparing doctorally-prepared nurse practitioners, advanced nursing practice leaders, and nurse scientists. This full time (1.0 FTE, benefitted) 12- month position includes teaching and practice scholarship responsibilities in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program. Our DNP program prepares graduate level non-RNs with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a non-nursing field, RNs with a Bachelor’s degree and Post Master’s Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) and nurse administrators. Candidates with a doctoral degree in nursing or related field, teaching experience in leadership, organizational systems and quality improvement, and an active program of practice and academic/clinical scholarship are preferred. National certification as a Family or Adult-Gerontology Acute or Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and RN/NP licensure in Massachusetts is required. Salary and rank are commensurate with previous experience. The position will remain open until filled.
