Lawrence Berkeley National Lab’s (LBNL) Physics Division (PH) has an opening for a Cosmology Postdoctoral Fellow to join the team. In this exciting role, you will contribute to the activities of the Lyman-alpha working group of the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) in the Physics Division. Your work will consist of three parts: analysis of DESI Lyman-alpha data, thus contributing to testing and improving the instrumental noise and resolution measurements determined by the spectroscopic pipeline team; development of cosmological simulations; inference of cosmological parameters using simulations and observational data, focusing on dark energy, dark matter and neutrino masses.
