The Oklahoma State University high-energy physics group is seeking highly qualified applicants for a postdoctoral researcher.

The successful candidate will work on the ATLAS experiment at CERN. The Oklahoma State ATLAS group is involved in searches for new physics, measurements of the top quark and Higgs boson, jet and b-tagging calibration, and the Phase 2 ATLAS Inner Tracker (ITk) upgrade.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in experimental high energy physics by the time of appointment. The successful applicant is expected to play a leading role in physics analysis, combined performance, and mentoring of graduate students. The position will involve frequent travel to CERN or residency at CERN. The initial appointment will be for two years with the possibility for renewal up to five years, contingent upon satisfactory performance and funding availability.
