The Collier Group in the Biomedical Engineering Department at Duke University is seeking a full-time Associate in Research/Lab Manager. This position involves supporting the development of immunotherapies for infectious and inflammatory disease based on molecular assemblies of peptides, proteins, and other biomolecules. Responsibilities will include overseeing lab purchasing and spending on multiple grant-funded projects, managing lab supplies and inventories, ensuring adherence to lab safety protocols, the care and maintenance of equipment, and ensuring adherence to institutional animal care and use protocols. Opportunities for contributing to ongoing research and authorship on group publications are also available, and work will be conducted with a creative team of investigators at all levels, including undergraduate researchers, graduate students, postdocs, and faculty. The group is highly interdisciplinary and collaborates across Duke University and beyond, including with basic science and clinical collaborators. Regular meetings with Prof. Collier will be used to assess success and adjust approaches for maintaining a productive and professional laboratory environment.

Salary for this position will be commensurate with experience, and candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
