The expectation is that upon appointment, the successful 2023 candidate will be located at the MagLab in Tallahassee in the condensed matter theory group (Kun Yang, Nick Bonesteel, Vlad Dobrosavljevic, Oskar Vafek, Hitesh Changlani, and Cyprian Lewandowski). The appointment includes a competitive salary and benefits, $5000 annually in discretionary funds to cover research and travel expenses, and the opportunity to travel to the other two MagLab sites at Los Alamos and the University of Florida at Gainesville. Applicants from underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.

Applicants should submit the following: • A statement of prior research activities and future research interests that will be pursued at the MagLab if granted a fellowship. • Curriculum vitae including publications. • At least three letters of reference in support of the application.
