The theoretical astrophysics group at Kent State University has an open postdoctoral research position commencing in fall 2023. Appointments are for a two-year term with potential extension to a third year. We are seeking candidates specializing in nuclear theory or computational physics, broadly defined. Applicants should be proficient in C or C++. The postdoc will work directly with Dr. Veronica Dexheimer and will become a member of the MUSES collaboration: https://muses.physics.illinois.edu/. As a result of the MUSES affiliation, the postdoc will have the opportunity to work with physicists at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.
