Position Description:

*** this position has been closed and new applications are no longer accepted. ***

The High-Energy Phenomenology group at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem is looking to hire several postdoctoral fellows, starting Fall 2023. We invite applicants interested in all fields of high energy phenomenology and theory, including physics beyond the standard model, dark matter, LHC physics, particle cosmology, scattering amplitudes, gravitational waves from black hole inspirals, and hard problems in quantum field theory.

Hebrew University has a strong and exciting research program with interests in all fields of high energy theory. The high energy phenomenology group includes faculty members Yonit Hochberg, Eric Kuflik and Ofri Telem, and enjoys close interactions with theory faculty members Shmuel Elitzur, Amit Giveon, Barak Kol, Eliezer Rabinovici and Misha Smolkin, and with the astrophysics group as well. There is a weekly joint seminar in particle physics among all groups in Israel. Postdocs can expect to have lots of interactions with the greater Israel high energy community.

Prospective candidates should submit a CV, research statement, publication list, and at least 3 letters of recommendation. Applications should be received by December 1, 2022 for full consideration.

Applications submitted before the 25th of October will also be considered for the Azrieli International Postdoctoral Fellowship.
