The Theoretical Particle Physics Group in the Department of Physics at the University of Cincinnati anticipates a post-doctoral position beginning September 1, 2023. The initial appointment is for one year, with an extension for additional two years depending on the availability of continuing support and mutual consent of the parties involved. Faculty members of the group are Philip Argyres, Joachim Brod, Alex Kagan, Rohana Wijewardhana and Jure Zupan. Current research interests of the Particle Theory Group include dark matter, flavor physics, phenomenology of the standard model, electroweak symmetry breaking, multi-loop calculations, supersymmetric field theories, machine learning, string theory, physics of hot and dense quark matter, gravitational physics, cosmology, and particle astrophysics. The deadline for applications is December 15, 2022, however applications will continue to be accepted until the position is filled.
