The successful candidate will be expected to play an important role in semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering (SIDIS) measurements with the proposed Solenoidal Large Intensity Device (SoLID) in Hall A at Jefferson Lab and in the SoLID software work.

Specifically, the candidate will be expected to apply radiative corrections to the SIDIS processes based on the state-of-the-art calculations. Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute significantly to the software work of SoLID. This includes developing event generators, fast and full simulation using GEANT4, reconstruction and analysis, in an unified framework. It also includes using the software to optimize the detector design for the physics programs and supporting software users within the SoLID collaboration.
