The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign string theory group has an open postdoctoral researcher position. The appointments are for two-year terms with possible extension to a third year. We are seeking candidates with research interests in any of the following: quantum gravity, AdS/CFT and QFT and in particular connections between these subjects and quantum information theory. The positions will commence in the Fall of 2023. The faculty working in the areas of interest are Tom Faulkner and Robert Leigh. The faculty are members of IQUIST (Illinois Quantum Information Science and Technology), ICASU (Illinois Center for Advanced Study of the Universe) and the ICMT (Institute for Condensed Matter Theory).
