A postdoctoral associate position is available in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences in the College of Science and Technology at Temple University. 

For this position, supervised by Richard Souvenir, we welcome applicants with a focus on computer vision, machine learning or related areas.  

The successful candidate will complement the existing team of researchers and have the opportunity to lead projects that investigate image retrieval, representation learning for images, and/or the societal impacts of computer vision algorithms.

The key responsibilities are to:

• help lead group research projects in CV and ML;

• contribute to research publications and proposals;

• communicate effectively with interdisciplinary collaborators; and

• guide and supervise junior researchers.

The ideal candidate would have: 

• a Ph.D. in computer science or related fields;

• excellent written and communication skills; and

• experience publishing in CV or ML venues such as CVPR, ICCV, WACV, AAAI, or NeurIPS
