Postdoctoral Fellow in Phage-Based Evolution for Chromatin Biology and Cancer Research The Chory Lab at Duke University is seeking a highly motivated and talented Postdoctoral Fellow with strong mentorship experience to join our interdisciplinary research team as the first postdoc in a new lab. Our lab focuses on leveraging the power of evolutionary principles to study structure-function relationships in complex biological systems. We use cutting-edge approaches, including robotics and phage-based evolution, to investigate fundamental questions in chromatin biology, epigenetics, and cancer research.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology, genetics, and/or computational biology, with specific expertise in chromatin biology and epigenetics. They will have experience in experimental design, data analysis, model development, and mentoring. They will work collaboratively with other lab members to develop and apply novel methodologies to advance our understanding of chromatin biology and cancer using phage-based robotic evolution.
