Position Description:    

The Department of Psychiatry at the UMass Chan Medical School (UMass Chan) invites applications for a faculty position in the Law and Psychiatry Program, within the Implementation Science and Practice Advances Research Center (iSPARC), at the Instructor level. We are seeking applicants with a strong background of research and/or implementation support focused on the criminal-legal system (police, courts, corrections). Strong candidates will have experience with: designing implementation strategies to support the use of evidence-based interventions in criminal-legal settings, academic and practitioner partnerships, conducting evaluations and/or fidelity monitoring of evidence-based interventions in the criminal-legal system, and research at the intersection of the criminal-legal system and behavioral health. Candidate should have a doctoral degree with a demonstrated record of research and/or evaluation work, a track record of extramural funding support commensurate with the faculty level, commitment to education, scholarship and working collegially with faculty, staff and trainees from diverse cultural backgrounds.
