| The Departments of Chemical Engineering and Engineering and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University invite applications for a joint tenure-track faculty position preferably at, but not restricted to, the Assistant Professor level. We seek outstanding candidates who are committed to research excellence in chemical engineering, and who want to spend a significant portion of their time addressing important problems in public policy. We are open with respect to specific research domains but are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in air quality and public policy, other aspects of envirochemical engineering, renewable energy technologies, and technical and policy issues in process systems, nano and/or biotechnology.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline. Applications should contain a CV, a statement of research and teaching interests, and the names of at least four references.
