Position Description: The Department of Psychology and Sociology at Benedictine University in Lisle, IL invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor level appointment in Criminal Justice beginning Fall 2012. The position requirements include teaching in the traditional undergraduate program. The candidate must also be interested in and willing to assist with the delivery of the program in non-traditional forms.
Qualifications: Ph.D. is required as well as established research agenda. The successful candidate must have an expertise in Criminal Justice and be able to teach in a combination of courses including Introduction to Criminal Justice, Juvenile Justice, White collar Crime, Criminal Law, Probation and Parole, and Organized Crime. Ability to teach Statistics and Research Methods is a plus. Candidate must have legal authority to work in the USA permanently.
